The bird was brought in the clinic due to watery stool and weakness and not eating much. The owner notice there is diarrhea and loss of appetite and not active. Clinical examination revealed emaciation, lethargy, dehydration and diarrhea. Fecalysis was done and showed negative result. Bacterial culture and sensitivity test was done in Ministry of Agriculture and showed that the bird has a Salmonella infection.
Treatment given was subcutaneous fluid to compensate fluid loss antibiotic for 7 days medication.
